In the meanwhile, if you're curious about my top 5 picks for 2009, you can find them at The Readers' Advisor Online. We plan to spend tonight going out for Thai, relaxing by the fire, and watching Memoirs of a Geisha from Netflix.
From our house to yours (and from our cats old and new), here's hoping 2010 brings you plenty of great reading!
Abby, new kitten #1, aka "little gray"
Callie, the heat-seeker, in one of the few moments she's not on my husband's lap
Max and Tortie, the original brother and sister, in their favorite spot. Poor Max is still recovering from knee surgery.
"Mad" Mary, former stray, mother of the two little ones. Great expression of boredom/disgust. The neighbors named her.

Meanie, resident porch cat, who has that name for a reason
Oliver, new kitten #2, aka "little yellow"
All so cute! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of cuties, keep the pics coming.
ReplyDeleteYour kitties are so cute! We have four cats, and I think that's the limit for my husband!! But I think the number of cats you have should be directly proportional to the number of books you own...right?? Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours, including your fur babies!
ReplyDeleteAnd a lovely family it is! So cute!
ReplyDeleteLezlie
Wait a minute! I just realized that Abby must be the new little kitty you mentioned once before. Christmas left my brain a little dysfunctional.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, they're still all wonderfully adorable kitties.
And based on your book collection, you should probably still consider a couple more fur children. :)
Love the cat pictures! We just have 3 cats right now, but there's one at the local shelter that I'd love to bring home. I tell my husband we need even numbers and symmetry among the cats here. :-) Happy new year!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Happy New Year, fellow cat person.
ReplyDeleteYep, Abby and Oliver are the names of the two recently adopted kittens I've posted pics of before. We're putting a "no vacancy" sign on this cat hotel, though! We've achieved symmetry, but six (not eight) is enough :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Love Mad Mary's fat tummy. Looks as though she's been dining well. Or something. :)
ReplyDeleteMary has been dining well these days! She has a more reliable food source now that she's indoors, plus she's still nursing her kittens and eats an absolute ton.
ReplyDeleteCute kitties! Happy New Year!
