I so wish I were going! (and I'm not influenced by the negative temperatures in Canberra and the fact that it is summer up north, only by the juiciness of those bags)
I usually don't go anywhere without a book, but since one of those bags is mine (hallelujah!)I think I'll leave the book at home. Can't wait for this conference.
There should be one more picture after this: the very happy conference attendee returning home with her loot (ie, the contents of these totes), struggling to hoist her book-heavy carry-on bag into the upper compartment on the plane ride home. Fortunately, where books are concerned, there's ALWAYS a way. *g* Many thanks again to everyone concerned for a fantastic conference!
Lucy, Shari, and Susan, it was so great to meet you there!
I'll post something longer once I'm home - we're still in Schaumburg but are looking forward to getting back. There are a lot of books to get downstairs and load into the SUV, but I agree, there's always a way to make them fit!
Ooh, those bags are HOT!

ReplyDelete*Sigh* I'm so bummed I had to cancel going. And I was going to be on a panel, too. Sheckels only stretch so far, though. Have a good time everyone!
