The 1st image isn't for a historical novel, though it looks it, and the author has written other titles in the genre. The 2nd image was taken from an ad for a prescription medication used to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Different skirt, slightly different pose. Same photo shoot, and the remaining differences due to Photoshop?

That is absolutely hysterical. Thanks for pointing that out Sarah.
ReplyDeleteSarah:
ReplyDeleteI'm just stopping by to say hello. I found your blog via Tanzanite's Shelf and Stuff and have been enjoying it. If it's OK, I will post a link to you on my reading blog (which I've just started, so there's not much there yet).
Hi Felicia,
ReplyDeleteSure, that's perfectly fine! I'll link to your blog as well - I love the TBR photos. There are a bunch of books there that I don't have (yet) and it's making me want to buy them.
Eek, Sarah, I didn't even think about telling you that I have linked to you. But I have. I also hope that is okay.
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying your blog. I was having such a hard time finding active sites that discuss historical fiction, but your links (and the links they link) are priceless. And I just finished reading the last of your archives today.
Hi Lucy, thanks for linking me, and no need to ask first. Thanks for your comments too - really nice to hear! I've just added a link to your site as well.
