Enjoyed the review, and am so pleased about the giveaway. I have always been fascinated by the idea of seances, something my own grandparents once tried (unsuccessfully) following the death of their older daughter.

Hi, I'll let someone else have the pleasure of the book, but couldn't help saying that "sepia" is a perfect reference on a site with your unusually lovely visual at the top....

I will admit Historical Fic. is not my usual genre for reading, but the review does make the book sound interesting. I do find fascinating that whole time period of seances, spiritualists, so on. So, tossing my ring in the hat. Best, and keep on blogging.

Your review of the book got me very curious about it, as I find the idea of the two parallel storylines quote promising. Thank you for the giveaway :)

We did a lot of seances when I was growing up. My older sisters would lead them, and while she indulged in some practices that we later found out were pure chemistry, there were other things that to this day, we cannot explain.

I have been anticipating this book since I first learned about it. Spiritualism has long fascinated me and I try to read most books that deal with it.

I am truly, truly looking forward to Michelle's SEANCE IN SEPIA and I hope I can win a copy. Will Michelle sign it?

Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Patty

Rena ,

I'd love to win a copy of Seance in Sepia. I read John Harwood's The Seance and Ghostwriter and enjoyed them both. I'm a long time follower of this blog.
