Thanks to author Michelle Black, I have a new giveaway for readers of the blog. She will be offering a signed hardcover copy of Séance in Sepia, which I reviewed here on Sunday, to a randomly selected blog visitor.
To enter, please leave a comment on this blog post, or on the associated post on this site's Facebook page if you prefer. Deadline is Friday, November 4th. This giveaway is open to all.
Best of luck to all entrants!
Enjoyed the review, and am so pleased about the giveaway. I have always been fascinated by the idea of seances, something my own grandparents once tried (unsuccessfully) following the death of their older daughter.

ReplyDeleteI would love to win.

Hi, I'll let someone else have the pleasure of the book, but couldn't help saying that "sepia" is a perfect reference on a site with your unusually lovely visual at the top....
ReplyDeleteI will admit Historical Fic. is not my usual genre for reading, but the review does make the book sound interesting. I do find fascinating that whole time period of seances, spiritualists, so on. So, tossing my ring in the hat. Best, and keep on blogging.
ReplyDeleteI love strong women in history and have been interested in this since the day I discovered it had a bit of Victoria Woodhull in it. Please enter me. tchevrestt(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteYour review of the book got me very curious about it, as I find the idea of the two parallel storylines quote promising. Thank you for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read this- thanks for the giveaway!

We did a lot of seances when I was growing up. My older sisters would lead them, and while she indulged in some practices that we later found out were pure chemistry, there were other things that to this day, we cannot explain.
ReplyDeleteI have been anticipating this book since I first learned about it. Spiritualism has long fascinated me and I try to read most books that deal with it.
ReplyDeleteI am truly, truly looking forward to Michelle's SEANCE IN SEPIA and I hope I can win a copy. Will Michelle sign it?
Thank you so much for the opportunity.
Patty

I read the first two chapters and it looks great. Right up my alley.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a book I would really enjoy! Seances are such an interesting subject.
