It occurred to me today that it's been nearly two weeks since I blogged anything. I've been spending nearly every spare minute doing revisions to v.2 of Historical Fiction, as it's due in under three months - and I'll be away for a fair part of that.
The next major post will probably be in another week - I'll be in Toronto attending BookExpo Canada, touring around, eating out at good restaurants, and buying way too much (my prediction) at the World's Biggest Bookstore.
Any recommendations of sights to see in the Toronto area are welcome.
Do a trip to St-Marie among the Hurons. Also, spend an afternoon on the Islands.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas - St-Marie especially looks like a great trip.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteSecond the suggestions. Toronto is a neat city, so enjoy. We all know you will bring home great book choices. But also want you to know we miss your posts!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan and Sally!
ReplyDeleteI have a short list of book signings I want to attend at BEC, plus other books to get in Toronto bookstores, so I expect to be bringing a nice selection home!
Second City is always fun!
ReplyDeleteDepending on how long you have, go to Kingston for the day! It's only a couple of hours by train and there are some cool bookstores there + Old Fort Henry and the University :)
ReplyDeleteIn Toronto, there's ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) and Black Creek Pioneer Village.
Thanks for the additional ideas!
ReplyDeleteWe really have just Saturday for doing stuff, so we're planning on staying in Toronto proper. This is making me wish we had more time to explore.
