He has written a highly regarded, bestselling account about life in Paris (which I haven't read) and this reads as if he isn't fully comfortable with fiction yet. I enjoy literary historical novels, but I prefer the characters to do a little more than observe and converse.Sarah Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13340312953393474963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19307003.post-61761561235453528262009-09-21T09:41:40.514-05:002009-09-21T09:41:40.514-05:00Sarah, thanks for the review. Maybe this would have worked better as non-fiction.Ann Weisgarberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11220698901977906665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19307003.post-15778340778720501372009-09-21T09:34:34.006-05:002009-09-21T09:34:34.006-05:00Hi,

Book lovers can also appreciate his actual biography entitled Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, Man of Two Worlds. It reveals a life that surpasses fiction.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19307003.post-69613423910792787632009-09-20T17:16:56.973-05:002009-09-20T17:16:56.973-05:00Hi Aarti, thanks for your comments on the review! ...Hi Aarti, thanks for your comments on the review!
